AI chip startup DensityAI is in advanced talks to raise hundreds of millions of dollars. The funding round could value the company at $10 billion.

Former Tesla Dojo supercomputer project leaders, including Ganesh Venkataramanan, founded the firm in 2024. The startup has recruited approximately 20 former Tesla engineers from the Dojo project.

DensityAI develops full-stack AI infrastructure, including custom chips and software for data centers. The company secured a conditional agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to purchase its hardware if performance criteria are met.
