Hyundai Motor Group unveiled a dual-track autonomous driving strategy at its Autonomous Driving Media Day. The company will collaborate with NVIDIA to produce Level 2+ and Level 2++ systems. Simultaneously, it will develop proprietary technology through its Atria AI system.
The strategy centers on an AI-powered Data Flywheel to accelerate software development. This system creates a continuous cycle of global data collection, AI training, validation, and deployment.
Hyundai plans to begin real-vehicle testing of these advanced systems between late 2026 and early 2027. The initiative aims to secure a leadership position in the global autonomous vehicle market.
