On October 12, 2026, Teradyne and FormFactor announced a broad strategic collaboration to accelerate the development and production of next-generation semiconductors. Teradyne will invest $300 million in FormFactor by purchasing common stock.
The partnership will combine Teradyne’s automated test platforms with FormFactor’s expertise in probe and interface technologies. The companies aim to address growing chip complexity and improve production readiness for artificial intelligence, high-performance computing (HPC), advanced packaging, and silicon photonics.
