Tempus AI (NASDAQ: TEM) launched a multiyear initiative to build a research platform featuring 100,000 whole genomes. This dataset links genomic data to de-identified, longitudinal clinical information.
The platform represents the first multimodal whole-genome sequencing dataset built specifically around disease populations and patient outcomes. It aims to optimize AI-driven research by integrating genomic information with clinical histories and imaging.
The project is currently available to early adopters, with general availability scheduled for mid-2027. Tempus plans to expand the platform to one million genomes following the initial phase.
