Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) acquired two major land parcels to establish India’s first OpenAI data centers. The company secured an allotment of 200 acres in the Anakapalli district near Visakhapatnam. It also purchased an 88-acre plot in Pune.
These sites will support OpenAI’s infrastructure expansion as it scales computing capacity for the Indian market. The move reflects a broader TCS strategy to invest heavily in digital and AI-ready infrastructure.
TCS shares have faced downward pressure year-to-date. However, market experts view long-term prospects positively due to the company's increasing focus on AI infrastructure.
