Samsung Electronics unveiled its CUBE strategy at SEMICON Taiwan 2026 to lead the artificial intelligence memory market. The vision centers on four pillars: Capacity, Utilization, Bandwidth, and Efficiency.

The strategy emphasizes structural innovation rather than simple physical stacking. Samsung is developing HBM5 to double the performance of current memory generations.

The company also introduced zHBM technology. This next-generation product aims to deliver an eightfold performance enhancement for high-performance computing.
