SpaceX successfully launched its 700th Falcon mission from Cape Canaveral. The Falcon 9 rocket deployed the final three satellites for the SES O3b mPOWER constellation. This delivery completes a 13-satellite broadband network designed for enterprise and government customers. The mission represents the company's 107th orbital flight of 2026. The first-stage booster successfully completed its 29th flight.
SpaceX (SPCX) is set to more than double its weighting in the Nasdaq 100 index. This reweighting could attract billions in new investment from passive funds.
The company is also preparing for the Dogecoin-funded DOGE-1 mission to the Moon. That lunar launch is scheduled for the week of September 14.
