Sony Interactive Entertainment says pre-orders for God of War Laufey will begin on September 29. The next installment in the series is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 on February 16, 2027, with Kratos’ wife, Faye, as its playable protagonist.
Developer Santa Monica Studio announced a Standard Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition, each with unique pre-order bonuses.
New gameplay details showcase Faye’s combat style and a new weapon, the Serpent Bow. It supports both close-quarters and long-range attacks, setting it apart from Kratos’ combat style.
