Synopsys has unveiled AgentEngineer™ solutions, a portfolio of AI agents designed to automate complete chip-design workflows. The agents run on the new Synopsys Autopilot™ Platform, an open and secure system that coordinates tasks across verification, manufacturing, simulation and other domains.
The platform aims to boost engineering productivity, improve design quality and help teams complete projects faster, from silicon to systems. NVIDIA, Samsung, TSMC and Intel are collaborating with Synopsys on the technology.
Synopsys reported that more than 50 customer engagements are underway. General availability is planned for the end of 2026.
