Synopsys, a leader in semiconductor design software, announced a multi-year strategic partnership with OpenAI to develop an AI model for chip design. The specialized model, called GPT-Synopsys, will combine OpenAI’s AI capabilities with Synopsys’s electronic design automation (EDA) tools.
