SGE signed a memorandum of understanding with GE Vernova, Hitachi, and Samsung C&T to deploy BWRX-300 small modular reactors (SMRs). The agreement establishes a framework for market assessment and deployment strategies across Central and Eastern Europe and the United Kingdom.

The collaboration integrates nuclear design expertise from GE Vernova and Hitachi with Samsung C&T’s industrial construction capabilities. SGE provides regional development experience to support the creation of a standardized fleet for secure, low-carbon energy generation.

SGE currently holds Decisions in Principle for 26 units in Poland. The company continues to serve as a key European partner for NuScale Power.
