NuScale Power signed a contract with South Korean manufacturer Doosan Enerbility to fabricate the upper reactor coolant system for the NuScale Power Module™. The work will take place at Doosan’s facility in Changwon, South Korea.
The partnership began in 2019 and has now advanced to production of the component’s “First Article.” The milestone moves NuScale’s SMR technology from design and validation into manufacturing, strengthening its supply chain and production foundation for future deployments in the U.S. and internationally.
