SLB secured a contract from OQ Exploration & Production (OQEP) to expand the Bisat-B production facility in Oman. The agreement covers design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning services to support production growth.
The project will increase the facility's gross fluids handling capacity to 548,000 barrels per day. SLB expects to complete the expansion within 19 months.
The contract includes four years of operations and maintenance services following completion. This project builds on SLB’s previous delivery of the Bisat-A facility in 2018. SLB also delivered the original Bisat-B facility in 2020.
