Hana Securities issued a buy rating for SK Telecom with a target price of 140,000 won. The firm identified aggressive expansion into AI data centers as the primary driver for future growth.

SK Telecom established new subsidiaries SK Hyper and SK Horizon to lead its data center operations. The company plans to significantly increase capacity across both domestic and international markets.

Analyst Kim Hong-sik projects data center operating profits will reach 1 trillion won by 2032. This growth could increase the company’s dividend resources by approximately 500 billion won.

The SK Broadband labor union opposes the data center spin-off. Union members are currently demanding reinvestment and fair compensation.
