SK Group and NVIDIA launched a partnership valued at over $500 billion to build global AI infrastructure. SK Telecom will construct a 2-gigawatt AI Cloud facility in South Korea as part of the agreement.

The facility will integrate NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin DSX platform with SK hynix’s next-generation HBM4 memory. Project leaders expect the first phase of the infrastructure to become operational in 2027.

The collaboration targets surging demand for sovereign and enterprise AI services across the Asia-Pacific region. This initiative positions South Korea as a central hub for global AI innovation and large-scale infrastructure.
