Solidigm, SK Hynix’s flash-memory unit, selected Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley to lead a potential U.S. IPO. The listing could happen as soon as 2027. It may raise about $10 billion and value Solidigm at up to $100 billion. JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup and UBS are also reportedly involved.
SK Hynix shares rose as much as 1.5% in Seoul after the news. Wolfe Research raised its price target for SK Hynix, citing continued memory-price gains. The firm expects strong demand to outstrip supply through at least 2028.
The listing is seen as a strategic effort to strengthen Solidigm’s competitiveness and raise capital for expansion, particularly in AI data centers.
