SoftBank Group Corp. has completed its acquisition of DigitalBridge Group, Inc., a global digital infrastructure asset manager, for approximately $3.1 billion. DigitalBridge is now a controlled subsidiary of SoftBank, which will consolidate its financial results into its own statements.

DigitalBridge manages assets including data centers, cell towers and fiber networks. It will continue to operate as a separately managed platform under its current CEO, Marc Ganzi.

Sterlington advised the DigitalBridge management team on aspects of the transaction, including compensation and equity arrangements for its leadership. The deal closed after receiving all necessary regulatory approvals earlier in September.
