SES AI Corp launched its final three O3b mPOWER satellites aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 from Cape Canaveral. This mission completes the company’s second-generation medium Earth orbit (MEO) constellation. The system now consists of thirteen total O3b mPOWER satellites.
The newly launched satellites will become operational by mid-2027. They provide high-capacity connectivity for enterprise, government, mobility, and telecom customers. Software-defined payloads allow the system to adjust bandwidth and coverage dynamically.
The constellation serves underserved and remote locations globally. It enhances service flexibility for specialized sectors including cruise lines, aviation, and government agencies.
