Scandium Canada has identified a potential 500-metre extension of mineral-hosting rock at its Crater Lake project in Quebec. The zone lies less than 150 metres east of the current TG deposit and contains ferrosyenite, the same rock type found in the existing resource.
Six drill holes confirmed the discovery. They were initially planned to test the TG deposit at depth but were redirected to explore a magnetic anomaly. Assay results for scandium grades are pending. The company says the zone remains open in all directions and could significantly expand the project’s resource base.
