At its Navigate 2026 conference, SailPoint announced a major expansion of its identity security platform to govern and protect human, machine and AI-driven identities.
The launch centers on a new class of Autonomous Agents that can enforce security policies, manage access privileges and protect systems in real time without manual intervention.
SailPoint cited a report finding that 79% of enterprises use AI agents in production. Only 2% have purpose-built tools to secure them.
The platform aims to give enterprises visibility and control over the growing agentic ecosystem. It also includes Autonomous Identity Security Posture Management (A-ISPM) for continuous risk detection and remediation.
