Rigetti Computing's fourth-quarter revenue outlook depends heavily on a quantum computer sale to India's Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC). The sale is worth $8.4 million.

Analysts expect the company to report roughly $10 million in quarterly revenue. The C-DAC sale would account for about 84% of that total.

Rigetti will recognize the revenue only after C-DAC formally signs off on the installation and successful performance testing of the system. This condition creates potential volatility in the company's near-term revenue.

Rigetti missed consensus estimates in several recent quarters before 2026. Its operating expenses have also been rising. Research and development spending increased 53% in the second quarter.
