Reliance Retail plans to double its operating EBITDA by fiscal year 2029. The company reported a 14.2% decline in net profit for the June quarter. Heavy investments in digital and quick commerce expansion drove this profit dip.
The first phase of the strategy runs through fiscal year 2027. Reliance will scale online capabilities via JioMart and expand its dark store network.
The second phase concludes in fiscal year 2029. The company aims to boost profitability through higher-margin private labels and premium formats. Automation will be implemented to reduce supply chain costs.
