Reliance Industries significantly increased diesel exports to Europe and Brazil in July 2026. Shipments from the Jamnagar refinery to Europe reached a 10-month high, while exports to Brazil hit an 11-month peak.

The surge responds to global energy shortages and a Russian export ban. European diesel stockpiles have fallen to their lowest levels since 2014, driving profit margins to record highs.

Reliance’s special economic zone (SEZ) refinery is exempt from India’s windfall export taxes. This positioning further bolsters refining margins and supports the company's Oil-to-Chemicals (O2C) business.

The increased volumes establish Reliance as a crucial swing supplier during global supply disruptions. The O2C segment remains a primary driver of the company's revenue growth.
