Regeneron reported positive initial results from a Phase 1/2 trial of investigational drug ubamatamab in patients with recurrent low-grade serous ovarian cancer. The data were presented at the International Gynecologic Cancer Society 2026 Annual Global Meeting.
Among 11 patients who received the highest dose, the objective response rate was 73%. Median time without the cancer worsening was 11 months.
Low-grade serous ovarian cancer has historically had response rates below 15% with standard chemotherapy. Regeneron plans to discuss the findings with the FDA and start a larger, confirmatory Phase 3 trial.
