Red Cat Holdings announced the launch of Red Cat Aerial, a unified division combining its Teal Drones and FlightWave Aerospace operations. The announcement was made October 12, 2026, at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition.

The company also unveiled the TRICHON™, a hand-launched, long-endurance vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) tricopter designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. It uses an existing electronics core operated by U.S. and allied forces and is intended as a lower-cost, scalable solution.

The consolidation aims to streamline customer engagement and speed the development of new platforms by bringing together the engineering expertise of the two former operations. Red Cat is showcasing the division and drone at AUSA 2026.
