Rubrik expanded its Project Hourglass initiative with Code Guardian, a new cybersecurity tool powered by Anthropic’s Claude AI. The company announced the tool at the Rubrik GSI Summit and welcomed AHEAD, Trace3, and WWT as new program partners. They join firms including Deloitte and Wipro.
Code Guardian uses Anthropic’s Claude Mythos 5 model to analyze source code for vulnerabilities. It conducts red-team analysis on a cloned, air-gapped copy of a customer’s code repositories—not on live systems—to identify and prioritize potential attack chains.
The launch expands Rubrik’s focus on AI-driven security as the use of AI agents in enterprise environments grows. The tool is available in private preview to select design partners.
