Paramount Skydance Corporation is launching a $49 billion debt sale to finance its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. The debt package includes a mix of investment-grade bonds and loans.

This financing follows the settlement of several lawsuits that previously hindered the $110 billion merger. Multiple state attorneys general recently resolved a critical antitrust lawsuit, allowing the deal to proceed.

The landmark merger is now entering its final stages. The combined entity will control major Hollywood studios, streaming services, and news outlets including CBS and HBO.
