Kraken Robotics completed its $615 million acquisition of Covelya Group on July 2, 2026. The deal positions Kraken as a major global provider of mission-critical subsea intelligence solutions for the defense and commercial maritime sectors.
Kraken created a two-part structure to integrate the businesses: Kraken Group oversees financial governance, while Kraken Robotics operates the business and focuses on execution. The expanded portfolio includes Covelya subsidiaries Sonardyne and Voyis Imaging.
Kraken raised its 2026 consolidated revenue forecast to $290–$320 million. Its previous forecast was $165–$175 million.
The integration aims to deepen customer relationships and build a more scalable platform for future growth.
