PMET Resources Inc. reported an updated mineral resource estimate for its 100%-owned Shaakichiuwaanaan Property in Quebec. Contained caesium metal increased 55%. The resource grade rose 31%, and tonnage grew 18%. The deposit is now considered the world’s largest pollucite (caesium) pegmatite mineral resource.

The update also includes a maiden rubidium resource estimate and increases to the project’s lithium and tantalum resources.

The new estimates will inform a Preliminary Economic Assessment covering lithium, caesium and tantalum, and an updated Feasibility Study for lithium and tantalum. Both studies are anticipated by the end of 2026.
