Plug Power has signed an agreement to supply 280 megawatts (MW) of electrolyzer systems to Arcadia eFuels for its sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) project in Vordingborg, Denmark.

The project, known as ENDOR, will use renewable power to produce approximately 110 tons of green hydrogen per day. The hydrogen will be combined with captured carbon dioxide to make e-SAF, a synthetic, carbon-neutral jet fuel.

The agreement is part of a broader strategic partnership that names Plug the preferred supplier for Arcadia’s future projects. Those projects represent more than 1 gigawatt (GW) of potential capacity across Europe and the Americas.

The project supports E.U. mandates requiring an increasing share of sustainable fuels at European airports. The deal follows three years of joint engineering work and is contingent on a final investment decision for the project.
