Palantir Technologies (PLTR) shares rose more than 4% after Barclays initiated coverage with an Overweight rating and a $265 price target. It was the second bullish call from a major Wall Street firm in two days, following a recent upgrade from Goldman Sachs.

Barclays analyst Anthony Valentini cited Palantir’s competitive advantages and growth prospects. The back-to-back favorable ratings suggest growing confidence in the company’s position, particularly in sovereign artificial intelligence for government clients.

Barclays’ price target implies significant upside from Palantir’s current trading levels.
