Prologis and Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. (GLPI) have formed a joint venture to redevelop the former Hollywood Casino site in Joliet, Illinois. The site covers 262 acres. GLPI will contribute the land, while Prologis will serve as developer and managing member.
The partners plan to build a modern, Class A warehouse and distribution park. Development is expected to proceed in three phases over approximately five years. The park is anticipated to include five buildings. Together, they will total more than 3.8 million square feet. The site is in a major logistics corridor along Interstate 80.
Prologis also released its 2027 Supply Chain Outlook, which highlights how delivery speed and energy trends are shaping logistics networks.
