Temu, owned by PDD Holdings, has secured the top e-commerce position in Croatia, Finland, Hungary, and Slovenia according to 2025 data. This rapid growth follows the platform's initial European launch in 2023. Analysts attribute this success to the absence of local Amazon storefronts or significant domestic competitors in these regions.
The retailer also ranks second in eight additional European markets, including France. Temu now maintains a top 10 position in nearly every country across the continent.
To sustain this expansion, the company is establishing a network of European warehouses. Temu aims to fulfill 80% of European orders locally to reduce its dependence on cross-border shipping.
