Ocumetics Technology Corp. (TSXV: OTC) completed manufacturing its next-generation solid-state accommodating intraocular lenses. This milestone advances the clinical development of the company’s vision correction technology. The redesigned one-piece lens improves performance, surgical handling, and manufacturing scalability.
The lenses are prepared for Group Two First in Human clinical surgeries in Mexico City. Shipments from Germany will begin in early September. Patient recruitment starts shortly after the lenses arrive. This trial phase provides data for the new design as Ocumetics moves toward commercialization.
