Oshkosh Defense, a subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation, will deliver counter-drone systems to the Royal Netherlands Armed Forces under an agreement with Kongsberg Gruppen. The deal integrates Kongsberg’s PROTECTOR Counter Unmanned Aerial System (CUAS) onto Oshkosh Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs).
The systems are intended to strengthen the Netherlands’ defenses against unmanned aerial threats. The integration also demonstrates the JLTV’s modular design, which allows advanced technologies to be added to meet changing battlefield requirements.
The agreement builds on the long-standing relationship between Oshkosh Defense, Kongsberg and the Netherlands. It also adds a capability intended to support NATO’s collective security and allied forces’ modernization and readiness.
