Okta Inc. announced new AI security features during its Oktane conference in Las Vegas. The company introduced Agent Gateway to provide runtime policy enforcement for AI agents. This tool prevents agents from accessing sensitive systems beyond their intended scope to mitigate automation risks.

Okta also formed the Blueprint Alliance with 11 technology vendors, including Amazon Web Services, CrowdStrike, and Google Cloud. The coalition will develop an open, multi-vendor reference architecture for securing and governing AI agents. This framework aims to standardize management across platforms as enterprise adoption of AI agents grows.
