Ocado Group plc signed an agreement with an unnamed European retailer to build a new automated customer fulfilment centre.

The facility will feature 600 Series robots and the On-Grid Robotic Pick system. Operations are scheduled to begin during Ocado's 2028 financial year.

Ocado shares jumped more than 10% following the announcement. The stock reached a 13-year low last week.

This rebound follows disappointing results from the first half of the year. The deal provides a crucial win for the technology solutions division after recent setbacks in North America.
