NYAB signed a turnkey contract with Fingrid Oyj for the Pikkumuola 400 kV substation in Forssa. The project includes the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of a six-bay switchyard.
Construction is scheduled to begin in August 2026. The project is slated for completion by the end of 2028.
The new substation will provide 400 kV grid connections for a major electricity consumer. This project supports Finland’s broader electrification goals and continues the partnership between NYAB and Fingrid.
The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement.
