At its GTC conference in Berlin, NVIDIA introduced DSX POD, a reference design for building complete, modular AI factories. [2, 3] Developed with partners including Dell, HPE, and Schneider Electric, the initiative uses factory-built, validated containerized units to reduce infrastructure deployment time from months to as little as two weeks. [2, 3, 14]

The design addresses market dynamics described by CEO Jensen Huang at the event. He said demand for specialized AI cloud services is “off the charts,” but a “scarcity of capital” is restraining growth. [1, 4]

Huang called for increased investment in Europe’s AI infrastructure. DSX POD is intended to help address that challenge by accelerating the time it takes to bring infrastructure into production. [1, 5]
