NVIDIA and Mercedes-Benz are expanding their strategic partnership to develop next-generation driver assistance and automated driving systems. The collaboration will combine Mercedes-Benz’s automotive engineering and MB.OS operating system with NVIDIA’s accelerated computing, AI software and safety technologies.
The companies will use NVIDIA’s Hyperion compute and sensor architecture, Alpamayo Stack software and Halos safety system. Their goal is to accelerate development of advanced driver assistance and future SAE Level 4 applications, including highly automated vehicles such as robolimousines.
