NetEase Inc. officially converted its Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) status to a dual-primary listing on June 30, 2026. The transition follows HKEX confirmation that most share trading has permanently shifted to the Hong Kong market.
The exchange will remove the S marker from the companyβs stock ticker. NetEase will no longer benefit from secondary listing waivers. The company must now fully comply with all primary-listed issuer regulations.
This strategic shift aims to increase visibility among a broader Asian investor base. The company expects the move to strengthen overall investor confidence.
