Northrop Grumman CEO Kathy Warden expects the company to secure a significant share of the Golden Dome missile defense initiative. The program launched in 2025 to create a layered shield against ballistic and hypersonic missiles.
The initiative is currently transitioning from a broad concept into a series of defined programs. Contract awards are expected to accelerate through late 2026 and early 2027.
Warden noted that Northrop Grumman can participate in nearly every element of the vast defense architecture. Anticipated involvement in the potentially trillion-dollar program is boosting the company’s long-term revenue outlook as initial government funding transitions into tangible contracts.
