Nokia is transitioning its AI-native radio access network (AI-RAN) solutions from proofs of concept to live trials. These trials run on NVIDIA platforms with telecom partners across North America, Europe, the Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. The initiative aims to increase network efficiency to handle rising AI-heavy traffic demands.
Nokia also collaborated with Scailarc and Elisa to demonstrate new calling technology powered by IMS Data Channel. This standards-based solution enables rich data interactions within a phone call before the recipient answers. The technology provides interactive tools for sectors including healthcare, banking, and public services.
