NANO Nuclear Energy has signed a definitive agreement to acquire strategic U.S. nuclear fuel processing assets from Radnostix, Inc. for $13.5 million in cash and stock. The assets include related intellectual property, patented technology and technical materials, as well as an NRC license for a planned but unconstructed depleted uranium hexafluoride deconversion facility in New Mexico.

The acquisition advances NANO Nuclear’s strategy to become a vertically integrated nuclear energy company. If completed, it would give the company ownership of one of only ten NRC-licensed fuel cycle facilities in the United States, providing a regulatory advantage and a platform for future fuel cycle activities.

The transaction is expected to close in 90 to 120 days, subject to NRC consent and other conditions.
