Natural Gas is trading 3.01% down at $3.12, pressured by a larger-than-expected EIA storage build.
- EIA storage rose 85 Bcf, above the 79 Bcf expectation; easing Gulf supply shut-ins after Hurricane Isaias also weigh on futures. Offshore production represents only 2% of marketed U.S. gas production.
- October LNG feedgas averaged 17.1 Bcf/d, down from 18.0 Bcf/d in September amid terminal maintenance. Henry Hub was reported at 3.134, down 2.7%; the EU storage report is not a clear explanation for this decline.
