Cloudflare announced the general availability of Cloudflare Basin, a serverless data analytics platform built on Apache Iceberg and R2 Object Storage. Basin gives developers tools to ingest, store, and query analytical data without dedicated servers or vendor lock-in. Its components—Basin Pipelines, Basin Catalog, and Basin SQL—manage the data pipeline.
Cloudflare also launched K2, a durable event streaming service, into public beta. K2 helps decouple and manage data flow between application components.
The company opened a waitlist for fully managed deployments of Cloudflare OS, an AI-powered agent workspace designed to connect to a company’s internal data and systems to automate tasks. Together, the launches expand Cloudflare’s offerings for developers building data-intensive applications.
