Anthropic, the AI safety and research company behind Claude, publicly filed for an initial public offering on October 26, 2026. It plans to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol ANT and could go public as soon as mid-November.

Revenue reached $16.3 billion in the first half of 2026. That was up from $1.2 billion in the same period a year earlier.

Anthropic reported a net loss of $80.7 billion for the first half of 2026. The loss was mostly attributable to non-cash accounting charges related to its financing arrangements and rising valuation.

The offering could be one of the largest in history. Some reports suggest Anthropic could raise as much as $100 billion.
