Merck will present first-time results from a pivotal Phase 3 trial at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress in Madrid, October 23-27. The data will be featured in a high-profile Presidential Symposium.

The INTerpath-001 study evaluates intismeran (V940), an individualized neoantigen therapy developed with Moderna, in combination with Merck’s Keytruda. The trial involves adjuvant treatment for patients with completely resected, high-risk stage IIB-IV melanoma.

In August, Merck and Moderna announced that the trial met its primary endpoints. The combination showed statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in recurrence-free and distant metastasis-free survival compared with Keytruda alone.
