Meta Platforms announced the launch of the Meta Enterprise Platform, a new division that will provide AI tools and software to corporate clients. The company hired MongoDB CEO Chirantan “CJ” Desai to lead the venture, signaling its commitment to the enterprise market. The division will draw on Meta’s AI models and infrastructure, as well as its personal AI agent, Muse, to help businesses transform their operations.
The announcement came during Meta’s annual Connect event. The company also unveiled the third generation of its Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses and new capabilities for Muse.
Muse can now operate a user’s Mac and connect with third-party apps from retailers including Walmart and Best Buy, enabling users to shop through the assistant.
