Meta Platforms launched a new lineup of AI-centric hardware at its annual Connect event. The release includes third-generation Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses with new styles and a camera-free audio option. Meta also introduced Meta Charm, a keychain-sized device built for constant interaction with its Muse AI agent.
The Muse AI agent integrates across Meta’s entire hardware and software ecosystem. Muse will facilitate shopping through partnerships with retailers including Walmart and Best Buy. The agent will also coordinate travel via Expedia and eventually manage emails and computer tasks.
Wall Street analysts reacted positively to the product reveals. JPMorgan raised its price target to $920, citing Muse as a potential successor to ChatGPT in consumer AI adoption. BofA Securities and William Blair also maintained positive ratings on the stock.
